ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0
8GB HyperX Blu (2x 4GB)
XFX AMD R9 270X Dual Dissipation
Corsair CX750M
1TB HDD
64GB SSD
I turned my computer on and my Ethernet hardware is no longer recognized it seems. Tried installing drivers for it from ASUS' website and I got the error message: 'The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable.'
However I can't disable Deep Sleep Mode (whatever that is) because I can't even see my Realtek Network Controller under Device Manager.
What I have tried so far:
- Turn off computer, flip PSU switch off, wait 15 minutes, reboot.
- Turn off computer, flip PSU switch off, remove CMOS battery, remove RAM, wait 15 minutes, replace CMOS battery and RAM, reboot.
None of these troubleshooting methods have any effect on the issue.
Thoughts?
