I just started torrenting yesterday, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. All I want to do is be able to rename and move my downloads without it messing up the ability to seed and or be accessed to the torrent client. After a little bit of research, it seemed like Deluge has those features, and it does- to an extent.

It's true that in deluge you can rename the file that you torrented and move it, however there doesn't seem to be that option for files within the original file. For example, say I download the entire season of a TV show from the same place. Is there any way (in deluge) for me to make two files within that file, one for the first six episodes and one for the last six? If not, are there any clients that would allow me to do this?

I'm trying to download some cracked programs on mac-torrent-download and it gives me a torrent file but I've never torrented before. I've done my research and came to a conclusion:

  1. Download a torrenting program such as qBitTorrent and have a VPN (paid one like ExpressVPN, heard it's one of the fastest and safest out there) and download the file.

  2. Use a service like put.io (don't know other alternatives) and download the file.

Which one do you recommend? I don't use torrents that much, so if I just need it time by time when I need it, second choice might be better for me?
