Digital Audio S/PDIF High Definition Audio Device - Driver Download. Updating your drivers with Driver Alert can help your computer in a number of ways. Just a other guy without the ability to use SPDIF passtrought to get multi speaker rendering. It says the recording device is set to Digital Audio (S/PDIF) and nothing else is listed in the Device Manager. I've seen this problem posted other places and I've followed a lot of steps, I tried downloading realtek drivers, updating windows, updating the drivers for my Nvidia Graphics card,and I even download Everest to be sure of my Audio.
